Methodist Chapel Records

This listing of general documents and records kept in the Circuit Safe of the Hitchin & Letchworth Circuit was prepared in 1982, with the index of people, when the documents were available for inspection at an exhibition in the Chapel. Document 7 Conveyance of Cottages was not present at that time and, whilst it was her intention, there is some doubt as to whether Beatrice Franklin ever completed Conveyance of the cottages in front of the Chapel. Her Executor and brother Robert Rule, however, did convey them to the Trustees in 1952.
