Phillips Family

The Phillips family came from Wistow, Huntingdonshire around 1903-04, when George Phillips was employed as farm bailiff by the vicar Rev. Edward Yarde Orlebar. Subsequently, the family lived at Litlington and ran the Post Office there. Later from 1948 his daughter Eleanor Jane, known as Nellie, who had married John Lee, ran the Steeple Morden Post Office and was succeeded by her daughter Annie Clarice Lee.
