Wimpole Estate Sale 31 May 1911
The Wimpole Estate had substantial holdings in Steeple Morden Parish. An attempt to sell the entire Wimpole Estate in 1891 failed and was followed by a sale of the outlying parts in 1892, which was largely successful as regards properties in Steeple Morden, but some were bought in. See Wimpole Estate Sale 1891-92 page
After 19 years passed a further attempt was made to sell the remaining outlying parts of the Estate, including those in Steeple Morden.
Here are the Sale Particulars for that 1911 Sale, although only the lots or information relevant to Steeple Morden Parish are reproduced.
