Purchase of Steeple Morden Estate by Earl of Hardwicke 1755

This is an abstract of the Lease and Release made 25 March 1755 and enrolled in Chancery 18 April 1755, by which the Earl of Hardwicke purchased the Steeple Morden Manor and Estate from Peter Leheup the younger and Sarah his wife for £14,800.
