23 The Green

The earlier house on this site stood endways onto the road and its land ran alongside the road reaching the Grove House garden on the east. The plot of land was shortened, when the end piece was detached and two semi-detached houses built. Today these are Nos 19 and 21.

No 23 was bought by James Frederick Rees and Julia Suzanne Banham on 8 September 2004 with a view to renovating and extending the old house. However, the as plans developed and the building was found to be in poor structural condition. Eventually it was demolished and a new house built on the site in 2005.
