106 Station Road, Odsey Mill House

This property began life as a steam powered corn mill in 1846, was converted to a coprolite mill in the late 1850s, then into meeting rooms in 1892 and finally into a private house in 1960. It was owned by the Fordham family throughout and C M Fordham applied for planning permission to convert into a private house in 1960. The house was let until the Fordham family sold the freehold on 9 January 1979 to Christopher John Peter Eveleigh and Margaret Ann Eveleigh.

In 1982 the Eveleighs sold to Peter G Butler and Julia A Kerr. From 1989 only Peter G Butler was resident. The property was let to John A Crawley and Katherine M Graham for 1994 & 1995 and Peter G Butler was again resident 1996 to 2005 and a sale is recorded in September 2005. In 16 December 2019 it was purchased by Lee James Denson and Helen Linda Corean Parsons, the current (2024) owners.

In April 2000 a planning application for a conservatory was approved.

Some historic confusion may arise, as the original Mill House was the adjoining property now known as Flint Cottage.
