Brook End, Water End Barn

This modern barn conversion lies between 16a and 18 Brook End and does not appear to have been allocated a street number of its own. It was previously known as Hillside Farm Barn. Planning permission for conversion from agricultural barn to private house was granted 2002/3.

Barn. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber-framed with weatherboarded and metal sheet covering. Corrugated iron roof replacing earlier C19 pantiles. Original five bay single aisled barn with double entrance facing north. Four bay barn an addition to west gable with modern extensions.
