From birth Krishan Puvvada has lived in Station Road, Steeple Morden and for a couple of years attended Steeple Morden School. Today, in 2020, he is in his second year at the University of Manchester reading Politics and Modern History, whilst also working part-time for the Financial Times as Project Lead, Education overseeing the Financial Times services and interactions with secondary schools around the world.
After the sudden death of his mother in 2017, when he was still at school, he has written of his loss and grief and how the experience taught him that there needs to be greater support and more understanding for bereaved young people.
